How to unparent and stop the animation? + extra
Hello everyone, I'm here for another question. I set up this character made up of sprites, it doesn't have bones and I animated it using mecanim. I want this character to lose a limb when he gets hit by a sword, well I can just unparent the limb from the main character right? No. The animation from the character still seems to affect that detached(unparented) limb, like a gecko's tail. If there's a solution I'd be pleased to hear.
Another question of mine is, how do you make animator states cycle faster? They seem pretty slow for what I'm trying to do.
