Unity 5.6 Video Clip stream on Android
I need to stream video on Android with Unity 5.6. Video is hosted on Azure.
H264 works perfect on iOS but jitters a lot on Android. H264 hosted on device works perfect on both Android and iOS. Webm works perfect on iOS but only works on Development builds on Android.
Error: W/Unity(10989): AndroidVideoMedia: No tracks in https://****.mp4 Error: E/Unity(20860): OnVideoErrorReceived Can't play movie [https://****.mp4]

Any ideas?
I get this error when opening .3gp, .webm or .ogv files.
AndroidVideo$$anonymous$$edia: Error opening extractor: -10000
VideoPlayback audio buffer overflow. 1024 sample frames discarded.

@Demanuele did you find an answer to this? We get the same error but only on a long clip, and not if we shorten the same clip in length. investigating the Prepare function
$$anonymous$$ake sure that you have the internet required permission on as that was causing additional issues.
Having said that, we had so many problems on Android that we switched to a plugin called AV $$anonymous$$edia Pro until these problems are resolved from Unity.
@Demanuele Turns out that didnt fix it for us. Just putting this on record in case anyone else has the issue. We were getting a weird error that "there is no track" (sound track) on the video for android. It is related to something with encoding, though we couldnt nail down exactly what the encoding problem was, because we re-encoded it a few times and it worked. I think the error reporting is not great regarding codecs.
Which codec is working for you? Can you give more info on length of video, resolution, size etc?

Here is what is working on ios and android today: Sound: AAC Stereo 44.100
Vid: H264 1920x960 FPS 29.96
Hi ! I have the same error bu my video is on my device (Oculus Quest 2) and not online. I use Unity 2019.3.15. Did you find a solution, @Demanuele ?
