How to blend running and attacking animation of (non)-humanoid

The character takes out his weapon while running. I'm sure that "taking weapon" animation of that character is the same for standing still, but while running it kinda overrides upper bones (ignoring legs). Is there a way to do it in unity?
Existing guides and tutorials in youtube/official docs show only idle/walk/jog/run/sprint - like blends, but it is not what I want
