Vuforia in Unity has never problem ?

My context : iPad2 5.0.1 + Unity 5.0.2 + XCode 4.2 + QCAR 1.5.9 My result : In XCode, i have one error solved by copying QCARUnityPlayer.h, libQCAR.a and libQCARUnityPlayer.a. And my real problem is : The app stays on the unity splachscreen :(

Thank you in advance

Do you mean Unity 3.5.2 - unless we've slipped through a time warp I believe we are still awaiting Unity 4!

In XCODE can you see an error in the debugger? I've noticed that there can be problems when you use Vuforia and have script debugging enabled on your build settings...

Thanks whydoidoit, and i'm sorry, yes i mean Unity 3.5.2.

Activate the "script debugging" mode is a great idea because it worked but only once, coincidence ? I suppose with more tasks like writing script debugging, some actions aren't executed in the same frame.

If i'm right, how solve this problem ?

When it doesn't work, Xcode writes :

2010-06-22 10:55:03.880 debug01UnityVuforia[2668:707] -> registered mono modules 0x11b7f88 -> applicationDidFinishLaunching() QCAR Extension version 1.5.10 2010-06-22 10:55:03.963 debug01UnityVuforia[2668:707] INFO/AR(2668) 2010-06-22 10:55:03: QCAR SD$$anonymous$$ version 1.5.8

Nope that is just it launching - that isn't an error...

I thought my SD$$anonymous$$ said it was 1.5.9 though, can't remember and not near XCode at the moment

If after that log line it says lldb or gdb that is what happens to me though - it just stops.

There is a very odd bug that can be "fixed" by pressing the stop button (once deployed). Then find the app on your iOS device and run it. Every so often the camera might show up as black. Double-click the home button, load another app, then switch back, and the camera appears.

this is no odd bug, just bad implementation. When you are asked for camera authorisation, vuforia does not wait for reply and starts the reading. Since it has no authorisation, it shows black. Next round, Vuforia finds the stored authorisation and is able to read. Work around is to use iOS native side to ask for permission before starting the Vuforia camera.

In an ordinary context, I don't know why, the app worked again and I got the log, i don't know if it's normal :
