How to Prevent Character Bouncing
I have a somewhat strange issue I think that isn't really related to coding explicitly. In the FPS I'm making the look script rotates the entire body of the player, as well as the camera. This causes the body of the player to go through the floor when rotated: See image: In the picture the player character is the capsule tilted at an angle in the middle of the screen.
The player will bounce up and down, most likely because the character controller thinks the player is colliding with the ground, so it moves it up as if it's stepping, then moves forward again. Is there a way to stop this from happening? I've tried Mathf.clamp, but since this is an FPS and shooting things directly above the player is something I'd prefer to keep as an option, I'm not sure what else to try here.
