Can i Resize Terrain to build it up to Surround my main terrain?
Hi, So i probably didn't pose that question too well haha. this is what i want to do... So, As i don't want to use a wrap image, i want to make a terrain to surround my main terrain but the only problem i seem to be seeing is the scale section on terrain does nothing. is there any way i can resize 1 terrain without altering the entire project? (as this terrain is just for surrounding my main map.) i realise i can use a plane. as that does rescale. but, the problem with a plane is... 1) i cant use terrain textures on a plane and any textures i use on the plane anyway end up being stretched to the scale of the plane. and 2) you can't shape a plane as you can a terrain. you cant paint a plane either. and you cant generate grass and trees on a plane like you can with a terrain. thats why i need a terrain surrounding. can i do it? thats the question. :\
