What is the best way to start typing effect using Timeline?
Hello!
I am trying to add a typewriting effect for a cutscene dialog and I was wondering how to achieve this inside a timeline sequence.
I actually created a coroutine function for typewriting effect dialog that appears when character hit a certain trigger by changing the vertex transparency over time. However, I am not sure how to incorporate this method into the timeline for cutscenes? Any ideas...

There are many ways to achieve this. One way is to make your Monobehavour implement ITimeControl. This will pass the clip time to the monobehaviour - which you can use to set the vertex transparency. Then drag the gameObject onto a control track to create a clip. In the inspector for the clip, uncheck everything except Control ITimeControl (found under the Advanced foldout).
Thanks for your answer! Any tips on how to make $$anonymous$$onobehavour implement ITimeControl? I would appreciate any example online or a simple explanation.
