Maintaining a scriptable object database
I'm trying my hand at a card game and have decided to use scriptable objects to represent all of my cards. I foresee myself, at some point, wanting to change a card's name. If I'm using the name of a card to reference the scriptable object asset, how to I handle the case where a specific scriptable object is being referenced in many locations?
For clarity, when I say name I'm referring the name of the scriptable object, and not necessarily a 'name' property. Although, both would probably change anyways
I think you should use a code or serial rather than card names to reference them...after that you can change the name of the weapon on will
