2.5D RTS game : solution to decrease draw calls.
Hi. I`m using 2D sprites extracted from 3D model in my 2.5D RTS game.
A total of about 100 SpriteRenders exist in the game.
There are 14 different types of game characters, two of which account for 90% of all sprites. (That is, a 90% sprite uses one atlas.)All sprites are sorted by Y position and overdrawn.
- I use the following features.(Unity's)
Sorting Layer
Order in Layer
Sprite Atlas(packing)
I`m looking for a good solution to decrease draw calls.(Now, from 170 to over 200.)
