Manipulate Child Movement when rotatiing the parent

I am currently working on a 2D FindTheBall Game and therefore want my Cup Gameobjects to Switch Place by cirular Moves... I am currently making that possible by Setting Both Cups as a Child of a Rotationcenter and then just Rotatating the RotationCenter (--> Parent of the Cups) This works quite fine, however I don't want my cups to move in a perfect Circle but more in an oval. I can't really figure out how to manipulate the movement of the Cups (--> Children of the Rotationcenter) properly to make sure they end up at the same final point as without the manipulation...
