Apple Silicon issues?

I’ve just gotten a new M1 Pro MacBook Pro and have been encountering non stop, breaking issues trying to use Unity.

All non-native engine versions crash when I click play, and the native version has tonnes of issues (like text inputted lagging by one character) AND crashing when I click play.

I’ve seen people like GameFromScratch saying the engine works perfectly so I’m not sure what’s wrong here?
