Unity Mobile Controls for 3rd Person Starter Assets is Glitchy

I have implemented Unity's starter assets with the mobile joystick touch controls. The build works great on iOS but for some reason, the controller on the left keeps getting stuck while trying to drag it and it is very glitchy. Does anyone know why this is happening? I tried resetting the controller, reimporting etc.
