Trouble installing Unity EDU licenses in our PC-Pool (Linux)
Dear community,
My colleague has recently obtained a 20-seat license for our project class from you which we would like to deploy within the next days. However, we are having trouble installing these licenses in our PC-Pool setup.
When attempting to deploy the licenses, we are running into the issue, that once the license is installed on the second machine via the serial number, it gets revoked on the first. I assume that since we are working on a shared /home (details for PC-Pool setup below) directory, certain settings are getting overridden, as I assume that the installed license is always bound to a hostname.
The setup is composed as followed:
16 Linux-Ubuntu Version 20.04 Machines (XFce Desktop)
Users will login with one shared, non-local useraccount
Each machine has their own HD space, called /scratch for projects, however UnityHub is installed on a shared /home directory (maybe that is the issue?)
Can you please provide us with a solution to our problem? We are starting our classes on Thursday, therefore we urgently require a feasible solution to this issue.
Cheers, Nicolas
