my ontriggerenter2d not working ...

well... I want to make a 2d game with a ton of Mario easter eggs and a lot of fun stuff with the camera system of celeste. I went and made a game object with a camera and added a polygon collider so that it has a boundary. then I want to be able to leave that boundary or that collider and turn that camera off and go to the other one by entering the collider... using System.Collections; using System.Collections.Generic; using UnityEngine; using Cinemachine;

 public class CamaraTrabs : MonoBehaviour
 {
    public GameObject VC_Cam;
 
 private void OnTriggerEnter2D(Collider2D other) {
     if(other.CompareTag("Player") && !other.isTrigger)
     {
         VC_Cam.SetActive(true);
     }
 }
 private void OnTriggerExit2D(Collider2D other) {
     if(other.CompareTag("Player") && !other.isTrigger)
     {
         VC_Cam.SetActive(false);
     }
 }
 }

I tried to fix this and is not working... I have a rigi body to my character, I have physics simulated, I have a dynamic rigid body, the colliders are triggers.... is just not working... I have seen all the problems people say they have with ontriggerEnter2d and the ways they fixed it, I already did and had no effect on the problem. pls if you have a solution or had the same problem pls help me and thanks for reading this.
