how the pay-asset works?

im gonna work with another partner together with github

i think he bought some asset which is not free

he commit and push to github

i cloned that source and run, then git tracked that there are deleted meta file

'HDRP Patch.unitypackage.meta' and 'URP Patch.unitypackage.meta'

what that mean? what if i commit deleted commit and partner pull that?
