Monster NPC isn't colliding with walls

I have an NPC that keepings walking through walls, even though I put colliders in, it seems like it is ignoring the fact they should collide. The walls are randomly generated so I am guessing that issue. It also doesn't collide with the player

check your physics settings. Edit>Project Settings>Physics. Then go into the layer collision matrixs and make sure your layers are configured properly.

it looks right, but still not working

Several things to check

  • Are your walls made from primitive? (cube) Or its it a pre-made 3d model? If the latter, you must use mesh collider and turn on convex

  • Make sure you have rigidbody on your enemy and player object

  • Make sure you have colliders on your enemy and player object

  • Make sure none of the colliders marked as triggers (turn off trigger)

  • As the post above said, check layer collision matrix (by default all layers collide with each other)
