I'm trying to make an area true only when the user is in a specific area / zone using GPS - not AR.

I'm trying to make an area true only when the user is in a specific area/zone using GPS - not AR. Any ideas how? I am using Mapbox and the idea is for the user to go to a specific location and then to make an object appear to them.
