Touchscript and new UI not working together

Question

Has any of you managed to get Touchscript work with the new unity UI system?

For me it does not work. I want to be able to Pan an image. I have a 2d collider on my Image as well as Simple Pan Gesture and a Transformer 2d.

FYI Panning 3D objects do work in this scene.
