Ui sidescroller 2d touch ?

Hi, i used to make mobile games using the old Gui system for touch controls. But everything changes with the new UI system. I don't know how to make a simple script that when i touch the UI image (not the UI button, because this works with one tap. And it doesn't useful for controling a character). The GameObject (a cube). Moves forward . Only that. Thanks
