Editor Resources vs In Game Resources
Hey guys,
I checked google as well as these forums for an answer to this question, so I apologize if this question has been asked before. What is the difference between the editor resources, and the resources folder that is created after building a game. I'm not talking about the resources.assets folder, but the actual resources folder.
I know the resource folders used in the editor will allow you to load objects by name, and unity will automatically include these assets into the resources.assets file, but what is the Resources folder in the build used for, if anything?
I can see there is a unity default resources and unit_builtin_extra files, but no other information. Thought it would be an interested question. Thanks!
