Folder Trick Doesn't Work: Referencing JS from C#
Hi, I know the whole thing about referencing a script of a different language has been solved but for some reason this doesn't work for me. I've put my JavaScript:"Monster.js" in a Plugins folder and put my C# script in a random folder that was created. Theoretically, this should allow me to create a variable of type Monster in my C# script but it doesn't come up or show anything at all. This one has me stumped as the solution that works for everyone doesn't seem to work for me. Can anyone help me figure out what I'm missing? I'm actually following the marco polo photon tutorial with their scripts so I know this is possible. I'm in Unity 4.6 if that does anything.
Thoughts?
Are all of these within the Assets folder? The Plugins folder has to be in /Assets/Plugins, not just /Plugins.
The exact details on this is written down here.
Another point is that all scripts have to compile - if there's some other scripts anywhere that doesn't compile, nothing will work.
