How to make smooth surfaces in editor?
I'm currently trying to build an office interior, which I've essentially built out of cubes resized. How can I stop what I think is called z-fighting (trying to show multiple shapes in the same place), and the lighting issues that occur? (Large difference in brightness)
Uhm... move the offending objects so their surfaces are not overlapping?
Please elaborate on the large difference in brightness problem. perhaps attach a screenshot.
Why not disable all colliders, and rigidbody to the gameobjects and set it to iskinematic? Or if colliders are extremely necessary, just use Physics.IgnoreCollision() http://docs.unity3d.com/ScriptReference/Physics.IgnoreCollision.html so they don't behave oddly.
As for lightning, it depends what kind of source are you using directionlight, pointlight etc?
