Is it possible to post images from URLs into the game environment?
Hey all,
First of all I am relatively new to using Unity to apologise in advance if my question seems basic or ignorant...
I wondered how possible (or even simple) it would be to create a simple 'game' / program in Unity in which the player can post / paste / project images from URLs in the scene or environment?
Ultimately I would like to be able to post images that are suspended in 3-dimensionsal space and then can be deleted or moved around the environment at will. The player would be able to post these images at different sizes, facing different directions or angles, etc.
Perhaps even post a video or mp3 clip that can be played at the click of a button.
Ultimately I want to know;
How possible is this? (embedding images from URLS into the environment / scene)
How I would go about doing this (if you know of any existing assets, tutorials (anything would be appreciated).
Thanks in advance for any help!

Absolutely it is! using UnityEngine; using System.Collections; public class ExampleClass : MonoBehaviour { public string url = "your URL here"; IEnumerator Start() { WWW www = new WWW(url); yield return www; Renderer renderer = GetComponent<Renderer>(); renderer.material.mainTexture = www.texture; }
If that doesn't work very well check out this page on Unity's Scripting API. Hope this helped!
