Damp Camera rotation caused by Animations
Hey I need some help.
Im new to unity and need to reduce camera rotation caused by animations. The camera is attached to the head bone of my player (FPS). Now this causes some bad rotations which jitters the camera.
Is there any chance to damp the rotation by scripting? Or could I overwrite the rotation to always x,y,z = 0?
Its a nice effect so you can actually feel the player movements but unsuitable for nice gameplay.
You could have a separate camera that just moves slowly towards that of the head of your player.
Can you give me a short coding example how this could be done?

Hello,
Instead of adding a camera to the head of your character,
You can have a camera separate of your character.
Then, referencing the head object, you can smoothly move the camera towards it.
There are plenty of examples in existence on how to do this :)
Hope this helps,
