After hit keep moving backwards(wheelcolliders)
Greetings everyone!
I've created a world like Mario Galaxy. You can walk around the world without falling off.
First I've used a box collider. This did not work properly as I am constantly pulling to object towards the center of the planet. So I was "shaking" a bit (The sphere is round so ofcourse I would bounce/shake). In order to fix this problem I used Wheelcolliders.
Now the problem is: After I walk to an object. I will be pushed backwards(ofcourse).. The only thing is. I keep moving backwards, and my walk speed will also decrease. How can I make it so I will slow downn to zero movement?
I have changed some of the settings of the wheelcollider. This did NOT affect anything
Please watch this (very short) youtube movie to better see my problem after hitting an object/collider. I've added annotations in the movie Click here for movie
Note: Freezing the position wont help. If I use that I will walk throught objects
Thanks in advance!

Does your rigidbody have a drag force? I'm thinking it has nothing to do with your wheel colliders, but rather your rigid body is still reacting to the collision.

Another question: Is your world a rigidbody? Maybe your world is reacting to the collision. Due to your perspective it looks like your character is moving backwards rather then the world is moving forward. Can you lock the rotation of your planet?
