Experimental Graph View: Ports Not Laying Out As Expected,Experimental Graph View: Can't Change Node Position
I am building an editor for my dialogue system. I want to put some dropdowns and other elements into the output container along with the nodes, but the port elements are not laying out as expected. I can not seem to get them to change what they are doing. I can add elements like buttons and textfields to the ports, but if I add a foldout, the port refuses to expand its size and properly display the contents of the foldout. If I try adding the port to another visual element, it forces itself to always display below the others even if they are in a row layout.
For example, in this image the "X" button, "next dialogue" text field, and the port are all inside the same visual element with a row flex direction. No matter what order they are added to that visual element, the port wants to be bellow the button and text field. I want them all to be in the same row. I have tried changing a bunch of styles on the port, but I can't seem to find what is causing this.
What can I do to get a foldout that is attached to a port to display correctly when open? What can I do to get ports to align with other visual elements when laid out in a row?,
