How do I create a branching dialogue tree?
Hi everyone, so I am trying to create a game that involves heavy use of dialogue and dialogue trees, but I am not exactly sure how to go about creating one in Unity. All examples I have seen either not actually of a branching dialogue tree, but a system that does not allow players to respond themselves, or likely outdated, and involving the use of IMGUI, which I am hoping won't be necessary.
So far, I believe I will have to use data classes and nodes, but I am still thinking of a way to use this to create a dialogue box with options that the player can scroll down a menu with the arrow keys and the Enter button to select. Can anyone give me any tips?
