Creating Scene Chunk in 2d game and Altering Prefab
Hi Guys,
I'm creating a multi level game where each level will be having multiple chunks of game objects. Can any one please help me with below quires and can correct me if I'm wrong.
Dynamic level chunk generation I'm creating level by dynamically adding chunks into the scene. Here chunks are nothing but prefabs. Depending on player position, allocated or deallocate the prefab dynamically ie. if the player is in chunk 5, keep 4 and 6 as buffer in memory and remove 3 and add 7 into the memory when he reaches some trigger point. Is this approach correct?
Saving the state of scene Suppose there is a enemy in the chunk 2 and the player will kill that and move forward. When he walks back. I'm not supposed to show the killed enemy when player come back to same chuk. How can I do this?
