Warning: Activate translation DOF to improve retargeting quality?
I downloaded a character from unity store then I removed all his bones in blender then I went to Maximo for new rig after that I animated my character in blender. When exported it to unity my simple animation seem to work but when I switched the type to humanoid my character was just standing still. All bones were green and he was standing in a t-pose. I only got one warning: 'Activate translation DOF to improve retargeting quality. Mixamorigleftforearm has animation that will be discarded'. After clicking on button: 'regenerate targeting quality report', nothing seemed to be changed. Help will be very much appreciated.
(What I did in Blender: I clicked on the bone of the arm I wanted to transform then disconnected its connection with parent so I could move it and then created keyframe so his arms could stretch out, it worked in unity generic.)

I had the same problem. Go into the avatar definition and configure. Once in configure go into Muscles and Settings tab. Then in additional settings check Translation DoF on. Apply and it should fix the error.
Does someone maybe know why this fixed the problem for me?
