I'm 13, can I use the asset store?
I recently downloaded unity (I have not seen anything that shows an age requirement for downloads, I may have missed something in the FAQ or terms of service. If that is the case, please let me know), and I want to get a few (free) assets from the store. However, I see in the asset store TOS that you must be 18 years or older to use the store. Does that mean you need to be 18 years old to download anything from the store (even if it is free), or does that mean you have to be 18 to publish and/or buy something from the store?
I'm pretty sure that limitation has been added mainly due to the possibility for purchases. Though strictly speaking you are not allowed to use the assetstore. Since the terms require you to be 18+ you wouldn't be allowed to even "accept" the terms as this would already violate the terms -.-
I would recommend you ask your parents or legal guardian if they would accept the terms on your behalf. They should at least know what you're doing there. -.-
