Animating Function Calls
I would like to use the Animator for calling a function at certain intervals.
I have a function that changes sprites of an object and also does a couple of other things, that cannot be simply added as a property.
I'm aware of Animation Events but those only appear to work if there is more than one such Event added on the timeline. My walking animation works just fine with this system, the function gets called, but when it comes to my idle animation, which is just one Event, it simply won't work.
Am I missing something? Is there a better way of doing this? Should I write my own animator?
