How to get the models from maya into unity as smooth as they are in maya..?

Hi, I created a 3D model which is highly smoothend in Maya. I am about to import that into Unity 3D. Its not getting imported(smoothly) properly. Any advices.? Thanx in advance

post screen shots of both maya and unity3d may be? that way we can help you with what is wrong.

And make sure that smooth preview is not ON in $$anonymous$$aya before you take screen shots.... it would make the models looks smooth but that is just a preview. you will get the output only equal to what is it is when this option is off
