Unity Asset Store and Text Serialisation
Hi all,
We've been working with a lot of asset store assets recently, and our project is versioned so we're forcing text serialisation and using meta files. We're finding that some assets imported from the asset store stay in binary format and don't convert to text automatically on import. Right-clicking and reimporting the assets doesn't seem to do it either, we have to either close Unity and delete the library folder, or turn text serialisation off and on again. Both of these take quite a while given the size of our project.
This seems like a bug, but are there any ways around it?
