Object showing different when Build into Mobile
Heolla ! I've just trying to build my project to see the progress on mobile, i making a gamefor android, and i use my device which is Samsung s3 mini, with Display 480x800. in Unity, i used WVGA Landscape (800x480) but the output was so different.. anybody know why this happening?
its the hp bar, this is the image for comparison.. (i usually used 3:2 Landscape as the original when editing)
i dont know why this happening, btw, the bar is not a GUI.. it is a GUITexture on game that i change the width and height, also the X and Y in the Inspector, do i need to change it to GUI? or something can fix this thing?
And this is the mobile version.. sorry couldn;t add more attachment into the Question section :)
The reason it is off horizontally on the mobile version is because 800x480 is a 16:9 resolution and not a 3:2. Other than that just make sure to check the height and you should be ok. I can't really do much without seeing how you are positioning each GUITexture (via script or via editor)
i positioning it via editor on Inspector, i don't touch them on my script.. do i need to change it to GUI for the sake of right placing? because i ever read on this Answer section, that GUI is too "expensive" to render?
If you are doing it via the editor and the only device you are deploying this to is the 800x480 (or 16:9) then set the display in the editor to the device and not 3:2.
yeah, i try to change it to 800x400, and as u can see at above picture, it still slacking off the horizontal.. also i tried to change it to 16:9 as u say, and it comes up far more different from the mobile version.. in this picture, the GUITexture are off of the screen, too far above.. i mean, it it's right, it should comes at least same with what the mobile showing isn't it?
