Use Beast to build AO for each individual object
I have a scene I am working on in which I want the player to be able to move objects around in a room. I have been messing with lightmaps and got good results but you can't move objects anymore.
I considered baking the AO into a separate UV space in Maya but Beast is easier to use and I would like to avoid writing my own shader if possible. Is there an easy way to use Beast to bake AO onto each of the objects in the scene without it affecting the other objects?
I want the room to have AO baked and the chair to have AO baked but no mark on the ground so I can move the chair anywhere.
