How to find if a point can react another point without hitting a collider
I'm trying to quickly (in the worst case, probably every update) calculate if a point A can reach point B without going through any colliders. To be more clear, it's like if you were to run a physics flood fill at point A, is point B contained by the filled area. From my research, this doesn't seem to be built in but I could be wrong.
I was looking at navmeshes, but I don't think I want a navmesh for this. From my basic understanding of them, navmeshes seem to work better for enemy pathfinding on the ground rather than pathfinding in the air, but if I'm wrong, please instruct me on how to use them correctly for what I want to do.
Thanks in advance for any help!
