Hi! I would like to be able to make a window. How should I do this? I already set the render to "Transparent / Specular" but nope, still can't see through...

Have you assigned a texture to the material that has some transparency?
AFAI$$anonymous$$ there is no transparency support in gif's. Use png
Well gif's have transparency otherwise, but I tried with Png, still not working...
Create a new material. Set it to Transperant/Specular, add a completely transperant png to it. Are you telling me you can still se the cube after that?
O$$anonymous$$G! It works! Thanks a loooooot! By the way, could I make it more visible? To see there's actually a window there!

In the color picker, adjust the alpha of the material.
well first select the shader 'Transparent > Specular', and then in the color picker that comes up when you change the color, the should be a slider at the bottom that goes from black to white. Use that to lower the opacity.
then there's something funny going on, try reinstalling Unity, or check your graphics card (if you have one). Posting your comp specs might be helpful?
I don't think my comp specs are an issue for this... Windows 7 Ultimate Edition $$anonymous$$otherboard P5Q 3.6 GHz Intel Core Extreme (x8) 4Gb RA$$anonymous$$ NVidia Geforce 480 GTX I don't think you need to more to know that my computer is very good... I don't think reinstalling Unity would help, I did a Unity tutorial in which there was a working transparent texture...
