Using scripts vs using Animations /CPU Usage?
Firstly I apologize if this has been answered before I have looked but could not find the an answer that related to my actual question. So My question is if I use the Unity animator to animate say the hands on a clock, over using a script to rotate the hands through coding, which option is is harder on CPU usage and performance? Also I am making the game in 2D so I'm not animating models, just sprites.
