What is best Performance-wise to create effects on objects, Animator or direct Material/Transform/etc. scripting?
Is changing values on a material in script just as fast as letting an animation do the same? Is dynamically doing Animator.Set... or using AnimationState.time in script worse than directly manipulating the Renderer.Material?
