GameObject in front of camera
I am working on creating a mirror in a 2d environment using unity free. I am simply using a 'mirror camera' to capture what is in front of it and then displaying it on the mirror surface. However, I am running into a few issues. The 'mirror cam' displays on top of all game objects, instead of behind as a true mirror would. Is there a way to set the depth of the viewport so it would be behind GameObjects?
Additionally, I need to be able to capture the 'mirrorcam' with the players 'vision camera'. (this is not the main scene camera, just a camera aimed at the area directly infront of the player sprite). I have tried setting the depths so that the mirror cam is rendered before the vision camera but that doesn't seem to help. Any ideas?
No RenderTextures in Unity Free is frustrating.
