Unable to install apk Android
Hi ,
I am developing a game with unity 4.3.3f1 Android platform using unity free.
When I try to install the game on Samsung Galaxy S3, I have no problems, but when I try to install it in another phone, it tells me "Unable to install"
How can I fix?
Hey bud, and Welcome to Unity Answers. Its most probable you are building for too high an API level for the device your trying to deploy to outside of your S3, which will have a nice later version of Android installed which inevitably leads to a higher API level. In your Player Settings, you must set the API level to a lower number in the Inspector options under the Android Tab under the Player Settings.
Try API level 9 (i think its about 2.2, 2.3) which is a good place to dev mobile for $$anonymous$$imum specs as it has multi-touch etc etc from this level upwards (it might have it before that, but know for sure it does from here on)
The API level is at the $$anonymous$$imum "Android 2.3.1 (API Level 9)".

You can try lowering the API level.
Also if the processor in your device is ARMv6 instead of ARMv7 it will not work neither. Unity filters all the devices with ARMv6.
The API level is at the $$anonymous$$imum "Android 2.3.1 (API Level 9)".
I only the filter on device "A$$anonymous$$Rv7 Only", how can I put A$$anonymous$$Rv6?
You can't. The AR$$anonymous$$V6 support was removed a while ago.

Also check if the app you are trying to install is of the same name as an existing app previously installed. Sounds silly, but i had this issue. and It took me really long to find out.
