Weird Scene View 'Glitching'
Hi,
The further I move away from the objects everything starts glitching and almost jumping around. It reminds me of a clipping plane problem but in the Scene view.
I've recorded some video to show the problem:
Any suggestions would be welcome as it's quite annoying ;)
Thanks
Paul
If you add a default cube next to your models, how large is it? It looks like the problem you get when the scene is huge with vast distances. It might help to scale everything down.
How far is this scene from origin? How large is it? This looks a bit like floating point rounding issues to me.
Thanks for the replies!
save: At the start of the video, looking near the top, there is a crow on the rock. A default cube is about the size of it's head.
ThermalFusion: If I scale a default cube the width and breath of the land I focus on is 250 x 250 units. The middle of the land is at 0 on all axis for the scene.
It does sound a bit on the large side, but not nearly enough to cause that kind of behaviour. If its a single imported model, try setting the import scale to a tenth of what it is now.
It's made up of different models. However I am going to run with your suggestions about resizing them and play around some more.
How big would a house be for example, in terms of a standard cube scale size? $$anonymous$$aybe I am not understanding unity scales correctly?
