game privacy policy
Hi
I read in the terms that I should include a privacy policy in my Licensee Content which will be a game. Does the privacy policy has to be included in the game like an option that users click in the game to read it or can it just be displayed in the description of the app in the app store?
Also, I do not collect information in my game, nor use any analytics. Could I write something like: "This game is made with Unity. Unity may collect some information by your use of this game. You can check which information is collected by Unity and their privacy policy at http://unity3d.com/company/legal/privacy-policy"
I'm new in creating games, any help will be appreciated. Thanks
without knowing anything about the subject - I'd probably place it both in the App description and in the game.. it's better to be sure that people know about this rather than have people play your game w/o knowing it and then finding out about it.. which usually makes lots of people mad..
So I'd probably display the info at the start of the game before getting to the main menu..
also, I had no idea Unity was doing this .. :o
thanks ShadoX for the reply. That's what I understand by section 5 of Unity Software License Agreement 4.x

In case that someone is looking to the same information. This is the answer I received from support:
Hi,
I think you have misunderstood, our privacy policy is for data we collect of users of our services, this does not include end user software, so there is no need for you to declare our policy for your game.
