Reimporting Assets takes ages.
When ever I update Unity, I have to reimport all my assets, and it takes like hours to do? Why does it take like 15 minutes to import one .mb file (Maya format). When I create an mb file under Maya it takes a few seconds to import, when I update Unity it takes like 20 minutes.
Is there something corrupt? When I switch to iOS and back to Mac it also takes so long. What could the problem be?
It can be a problem with your PC speed. Try to clean it in the inside of the case and use some programs to defrag/optimize/speed up your PC!!
Can't be that, I use SSD's, I7 3990 $$anonymous$$Hz, GTX 660, which is only a couple month old.
