Mobile Orientation / input.acceleration problems

This is about a problem with input.acceleration.y after upgrading to Unity 4.

When using unity remote, with my tablet (nexus 10), i'm getting a input.acceleration.y = 0 when holding the tablet in landscape mode, just like in 3.x. In the build however, I have to hold the tablet in Portrait mode to get a 0, even though I've build the APK in landscape left mode.. So the screen & the controls don't add up anymore, orientation wise..

When using an Galaxy S phone, with android 2.3.3. unity remote And the build both give a 0 value when held in portrait mode, even though i'm building as a Landscape left..

When using unity 3.x, both devices would give a input.acceleration.y of 0 wheter it was in builds, or in the editor with unity remote. The discrepancies between the remote input and build input on the Nexus 10 made me think it could be a bug.

Did the standard orientation 0 point for devics change between 3.x & 4.x? And if so, why is there a difference between the remote & build on the Nexus 10, but not on the Galaxy S?

If this is not a bug, and there weren't any changes between orientation, what can it be? I don't have any of these problems with unity 3.5 mind you.
