Loss of texture data when Unity 2.6 looses of focus on a windows App.
I am using Unity 2.6 Pro and have discovered a strange bug with the textures getting wiped out when the app looses focus. We are in the testing phase of development and were testing what happens when you ALT+Tab out of the app while it was running in full screen, then ALT+Tab back in. On computers with a decent video card the app would work perfectly, however on computers running off the on motherboard video card all textures rendered via the GUI.DrawTexture() function are replaced with Black boxes. The text still rendered by GUI.Label() is fine and the program (to the best of my knowledge is still running). Clicking on parts of the screen where there are buttons will execute the button actions.
I have tried enabling Run In Background in the Player settings with no change to the app.
Oddly if I exit the scene and reload it all the textures are reloaded and everything is fine.
I would like to know if there is a way to prevent loss of texture memory when the app looses focus. Alternately if that is impossible, I would like to know when the app is regaining focus so that I can force a scene transition to reload the textures.
Thank you in advance for your sage advice.
Any error messages relating to textures or graphics in the application log? (check "output.txt" in the *_Data directory of your build)
