Problem with mecanim states switching back for a split second
In mecanim I have setup 3 different states: Idle, Jump and Fall
Both Jump and Fall are triggered by setting a boolean variable (Jump and Attached in this case). Jump has an animation, but idle and fall don't (although they probably will sometime in the future). Jump works just fine, it goes back to idle when I set the boolean to false. But for some reason the Fall state don't behave in the same way.
I set the Attached boolean to true on collision with another object. At that point I also create a joint between the two objects. Whenever that joint is broken I change the Attached boolean to false - I do this in the update-loop. When the Attached variable is false it does go to Fall, but once the timer has gone to 100% it flicks back to idle for a split second.
Any ideas of what I can be doing wrong?
