Rendering Issues with Unity, Sketchup, and .3ds files
Hello everyone again! I'm back with another question. I have gone and learned a bit of programming to continue with my game, and am having a bit of a problem with Sketchup and Unity. I have created a building in Sketchup with textures and all, and I go and export it as a .3ds file. I export it directly into a folder in the assets folder of my project, and Unity imports it. I drag the model into the scene, and it is missing some surfaces. The surfaces that are missing in Unity are not missing in Sketchup.

Check your normals. Unity only renders one side of each triangle, so if the triangle is facing the wrong side then it won't get rendered
I checked the normals in sketchup, and the faces missing in Unity are indeed inverted. Thanks!
