Universe Gameworld
Hello. I am working on a space game. I am going to have a very large map with many galaxies. Do not know if this is possible in Unity. Just wondering if you could shrink everything in the world. Your assets, such as planets and space ships, also your character. I want to make it so that you won't even need a skybox of stars. You just see the stars that are in the game. Thank you for your time.
Just for the record, this is totally achievable in Unity3D. You would have different "scales of maps". You'd have a set of maps for the "overall universe' Then a set of maps "within galaxies" and so on -- probably four levels. it is not easy to program this sort of thing, but, Unity3D is perfect for it. it's just a program$$anonymous$$g challenge unrelated to Unity as such. Good luck!
