Continuing problems with windows 8.1

After posting my last question which got no answer I still tried repeating the same steps with no success. However, today a windows definition update came through which now allows me to fire immediately after moving forward. No other directions will allow me to shoot unless they are untouched for 2-3 seconds. Is my only option to wait for another update to see if that resolves the issue?
